Privacy policy.
Last updated: April 2026. Barcode Press is designed around a single principle - your data never leaves your browser.
What we collect
Nothing. Barcode Press runs entirely in your browser. We do not operate a database, we do not require an account, and we do not ask for personal information.
Barcode data
The text, numbers, and payloads you type into any generator are processed locally by JavaScript running on your own device. They are never transmitted to our servers, stored in logs, or shared with any third party.
Cookies & local storage
We do not set tracking cookies. Your browser may cache static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts) for performance, but this cache contains no personal data.
Analytics
If analytics are ever added, they will be privacy-preserving, aggregate-only, and disclosed here before collection begins. As of the date above, no analytics are in use.
Hosting
The site is delivered by Vercel Inc., which may keep basic server logs (IP address, user-agent, request path) for operational and security purposes. These logs are governed by Vercel's own privacy policy and are not available to us for any individualised analysis.
Third-party links
Pages may link to external resources (standards bodies, reference sites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Children
The service is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
