Terms of use.
Last updated: April 2026. By using Barcode Press you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Service
Barcode Press provides a free, browser-based utility for generating barcode images across a wide range of symbologies. The service is offered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis with no warranty of any kind.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you encode. Do not use the service to generate barcodes that infringe trademarks, counterfeit products, misrepresent regulated identifiers (such as GS1 GTINs or healthcare HIBC codes), or facilitate any unlawful activity.
No warranty
Generated barcodes are not guaranteed to be compliant with any specific industry standard. Before using a code in production - especially for retail, healthcare, postal, or regulated contexts - you must independently verify that the output meets the applicable specification and scans correctly on your target hardware.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of Barcode Press shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, resulting from your use of the service.
Licensing
Barcode rendering is performed by bwip-js, which is distributed under the MIT license. Other third-party components retain their respective licenses. The output barcode images you generate are yours to use freely.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are provided under general principles of contract law. If a dispute arises, you and we will attempt in good faith to resolve it informally before seeking any other remedy.
